1 - SSW. Blog post about Tongan language week. Start with what we shared on Monday in our block through to what we witnessed on Friday in school assembly. Mrs Tele'a has images you can use for this!

WALT - We are reviewing how to produce a quality blog post and comments.
Instructions (2 tasks)
1 - Using our speech finals on Friday, write a blog post about this experience:
a. Which speech appealed the most to you?
b. Why?
c. Which speech was the most entertaining? Most thought provoking?
d. If you were to give another speech in literacy what are 3 things you work on improving?
2. Go here for quality blog comments, work through this with a partner.
Speech success criteria
1 - Between 2 - 3 minutes long
2 - Starts with either a question, personal story or a powerful statement
3 - Eye contact with audience when speech is delivered
4 - Speech is delivered confidently and with expression
5 - Detail in speech connects well
6 - Speech is memorised
Week 4 & 5
WALT - Write a speech using our prior experience to guide your final plans. Remember the feedback you received.
You have all written and delivered your first speech, well done! It is time for round two.
Instructions
1 - Select a speech topic. You can make your own or pick one from list to your right
2 - Research and write a speech about that topic
3 - Learn and rehearse your speech
4 - Deliver your speech in front of your class (week 5)
