WALT - Write and deliver a speech that engages your audiences
Last week we looked at writing an engaging speech introduction. This week you are going to to put into practise what you learnt last week.
Instructions
1 - Select a speech topic. You can make your own or pick one from last week's presentation
2 - Research and write a speech about that topic
3 - Learn and rehearse your speech
4 - Deliver your speech in front of your class (week 10)
Speech success criteria
1 - Between 1 - 3 minutes long
2 - Starts with either a question, personal story or a powerful statement
3 - Eye contact with audience when speech is delivered
4 - Speech is delivered with a confident and clear voice
Week 7 & 8
WALT - Capture our audiences attention

2 - Make a copy, file and turn in learning evidence
3 - Create your own 60 speech, make sure you capture your audience early on
4 - Once you have finished memorise your speech and practise reading it with expression.
