Today and tomorrow's agenda

• • Today we presented sports, sports vocabulary, and the verb jugar (which is a u to ue boot verb). Students received a vocabulary worksheet that they are instructed to learn and know well. Using the Avancemos 1 CD's we reviewed all the vocabulary on the sports vocabulary worksheet. We watched, listened to, and learned from the telehistoria, escena 1 and escena 2 in the Avancemos 1 text book on pages 305 and 310. As a class we discussed activities 3 and 10. We talked about the verb jugar, I explained how to properly conjugate the verb jugar (to play-page 307) and then the students played battleship with the verb jugar and the attached worksheet. Lastly, the students wrote out Activity 5, on page 308, in paragraph form in both Spanish and English. This assignment was turned in for credit.
