5/15/18 and 5/16/18

Today's agenda:

  • Students watched scenes 1, 2, and 3 from 6.1 telehistorias. These can be read on pages 305, 310, and 315. Students took the 6.1 telehistorias quiz immediately after watching the 3 scenes.

    • Students worked on learning the meaning, the conjugation, and when to use the verbs Jugar, Saber, and Conocer (pages 307 and 312). As a class, the students did 2 paired activities-tic tac toe and battleship, and both of these activities were focused on the 3 verbs above, and the vocabulary from 6.1. I am attaching the tic tac toe and battleship studysheets/worksheets for students to use in preparation for Thursday/Friday quizzes.

    • Lastly, the students did a writing assignment from the book and turned it in for class credit. On page 323, activity 3, students were to write the entire paragraph in Spanish, making sure to fill in the blanks with the correct form of the verb saber or conocer. Once they completed the paragraph in Spanish, there were to rewrite it in English too.

  • Students will be taking two quizzes on Thursday/Friday Both quizzes are fill in the blanks. For both quizzes a word bank is provided. Students only need to recognize which vocabulary word or verb goes in each line.
