Today's agenda:
Students worked on Unit 2 lesson 1 vocabulary. Watched the unit 2 lesson 1 power point, and telehistoria 2.
We discussed how to express at what time things take place. For example, if I want to say I have class at 8:00 in the morning, I would say, yo tengo clase a las ocho de la manana. The phrase a las is the "at" indicator. We did a walk around activity that allowed the students to express what classes they had and at what time the classes take place.
We discussed the different classes students can take here at school. We discussed if the students have or have had the classes. Then the students did a worksheet to express how the class is...i.e. la clase de ciencia es dificil using clues supplied on the worksheet. This worksheet was handed in for credit.
We discussed the verbs tener "to have" and the verb tener que "to have to" and did some classroom practices to better learn the material.
