10/25/16 and 10/26/16

Today's agenda:

    • Students worked on Unit 2 lesson 1 vocabulary. Watched the unit 2 lesson 1 power point, and telehistoria 2.

    • We discussed how to express at what time things take place. For example, if I want to say I have class at 8:00 in the morning, I would say, yo tengo clase a las ocho de la manana. The phrase a las is the "at" indicator. We did a walk around activity that allowed the students to express what classes they had and at what time the classes take place.

    • We discussed the different classes students can take here at school. We discussed if the students have or have had the classes. Then the students did a worksheet to express how the class is...i.e. la clase de ciencia es dificil using clues supplied on the worksheet. This worksheet was handed in for credit.

    • We discussed the verbs tener "to have" and the verb tener que "to have to" and did some classroom practices to better learn the material.
