Today's agenda:

    • Today we continued to work on understanding how to ask and tell what time things take place. The question, A que hora es...? A what time is...? The answer something es a las...something is at...such and such a time. An example would be: A que hora es tu clase de ciencia. Mi clase de ciencia es a las once de la manana. Once the students were comfortable with how to ask and answer the question we did a walk around talk and swap activity.

    • We watched and discussed part 3 of the telehistoria Unit 2 lesson 1 CD

    • We practiced numbers 0-99.

    • We practiced tener, tener que, classes, time and action verbs from 2.1. We played tic tac toe and basically here are the clues the students had to work with

Students need to be able to to write Hector tiene una clase de arte a las siete y veinte de la manana. En la clase Hector tiene que dibujar.

    • Students were presented with some verbs they need to learn. We wrote the Spanish under the English and the English under the Spanish. Our task is to learn the verbs English to Spanish and Spanish to English. Students practiced this skill in pairs.

    • Students were presented with a worksheet with 40 random statements using the verbs presented today. We learned how to answer these questions in the "yo" form, and to express how often we do the action verb. Students were taught the words

    • Students are in the process of answering 1-40 on a separate piece of paper that expresses how often they do different action verbs. The verbs and the worksheet are attached
