9/22 and 9/23

Today's agenda:

• • Pass along review of numbers 0-99

  • Practiced our new vocabulary "cheat chart' in pairs. Students would ask the question, "como se dice en espanol....? i.e. Como se dice to eat? Como se dice to drink, Como se dice to play. Point of emphasis is to learn the new verbs from unit 1.

  • Students played tic tac toe. This was done entirely in the Yo form. In other words, the students would say Me gusta or no me gusta and add the action verb in Spanish after seeing it in English on the board.

  • As written work, Students did exercise 1 on page 34 by writing out the entire dialogue in Spanish and adding the missing words from the word bank. They then went back and wrote the dialogue again in English to make the english/spanish connection. This was turned in for credit.

  • lastly, students received a worksheet asking them 38 questions about their likes. Students answered the questions in a complete sentence in the following manner. Te gusta leer? Si, me gusta leer or No, no me gusta leer. This was turned in for class credit.
