10/15 and 10/16

Today and tomorrow's agenda: A hodgepodge of activities

    • For starters, students were given a worksheet with 10 characters and 10 descriptions. The students had to match the person/character to the corresponding description.

    • Our next activity we worked on classes vocabulary. Students are to learn the vocabulary Spanish to English and English to Spanish. After working on our classes vocabulary, students worked on their daily class schedule. Students were to write in Spanish their classes in the appropriate places on the worksheet. I can't find this worksheet in my files so student will have to pick up the paper from me.

    • We worked on telling time. A brief discussion (nota grammatical) can be found on page 90. Student would do well to see me and get a 5 minute one on one tutorial.

    • We worked on learning the verb tener (to have) and the conjugation of the verb (page 91). The students then did a paired activity answering questions with their classmate.

    • We worked on double digit phone numbers (worked on this in both August and September). Did a walk around talk n swap as a whole class activity.

    • Finally, after working with the conjugation of tener, students played a dice game using a worksheet that emphasizes numbers in the 20's, 30's, 40's etc. and also reinforces nouns and adjectives we have previously worked on.
