Today's agenda:

• Students worked on classroom phrases.

• Students worked on weather terms, the seasons, and the months. Students reviewed a true/false work sheet on the weather unit. There will be a multiple choice quiz on Monday on the weather unit

• Students worked on gustar (to like) + action verbs. Students watched the gustar (to like) + action verbs power point from unit 1.1. Students watched the vocabulary introduction video from Avancemos 1 Unit 1.1. We talked quite a bit about the verbs on the verb wall. Students know they are responsible to learn the action verbs from 1.1 (students need to get 1.1 packet from me). Today we worked specifically on:

Me gusta + verb I like to...

Te gusta + verb you like to...

A somebody le gusta... He/she likes to...

If a student was absent on Thursday/Friday, they should plan to see me at lunch for 15-20 minutes so I can help them get caught up with the missed information.
