Today's agenda:

  • We spent the entire day reviewing and preparing for the Preliminary Unit Test which takes place Monday 9/17/18. We reviewed the weather. Students should be working to complete their weather packet. Students should know the weather terms, the seasons, and the months of the year.

  • We reviewed the capitals, countries and the nationalities. Students should be working to to complete the capitals/countries packet. Student should know which capitals go with which countries.

  • We reviewed numbers 0-99. Students should know their numbers. Students should be able to share a phone number. For example-492-8317 would be cuatro, nueve, dos, ochenta y tres, diecisiete.

  • We reviewed the alphabet. Students should know how to spell names in Spanish.

  • We reviewed greetings. Students should be able to do all three parts of the attached dialogue.

  • Students should know how to say good morning, good afternoon, and good evening. They should know when to use Como estas tu? vs Como esta usted? They should also know when to say estoy bien, estoy asi-asi, or estoy mal.

  • Students should know basic commands and classroom phrases. These can be studied from the classroom phrases and commands worksheet that is attached to the numbers/alfabeto cheat charts.

Tuesday and Wednesday we will begin Unit 1 lesson 1
