Today's agenda:
Students watched all three segments of the 1.2 telehistorias with the Spanish subtitles. Again, we continue to do this so the students can hear authentically spoken Spanish.
We discussed the use of definite articles in Spanish. There is a grammatical explanation on page 61. We practiced the definite article by doing a worksheet in the Adjective packet. I have attached the worksheet to the website, but here are a couple of examples with their answers;

Students were given a 1.2 culture worksheet. This paper should be completed at home. It is attached to the website.
Students should be studying for quizzes on the indefinite/definte articles, ser + adjectives, and being able to describe themselves, their mom/stepmom and dad/stepdad as well as knowing their likes and dislikes
Students should be studying their adjectives, practicing the dice combinations, and know the gustar action verbs from 1.1 to be able to talk about their likes/dislikes, mom's likes/dislikes, and dad's likes/dislikes.
Students should be able to do a minimum of the following:

Soy atletico.
No soy perezoso.
Me gusta jugar los deportes.
No me gusta leer.
Mi papa se llama Don.
