Today's agenda:

  • Students worked all period on the ser + adjective packet. First assignment was to do the Spanish to English/English to Spanish matching worksheet.

  • Students worked on the Ser adjectives scramble.

  • Students worked on the el, la, los or las worksheet. The task here is to fill in the first blank with el, la, los or las. the second blank is to be filled in with either es or son. The last blank is to be filled in with either o, a, os, as, or es...depending on the adjective that is being described.

  • Students worked on a direct translation to English of the 3 mini paragraphs found on page 79.

  • Students worked on a paper to describe themselves, their dad/stepdad, and their mom/stepmom. I gave an example for each:

Me llamo Mark

soy atletico, trabajador, y feliz

no soy pelirrojo, desorganizado, ni tranquilo

me gusta jugar basquetbol y practicar expanol.

No me gusta leer ni acampar en las montanas.

Mi padre se llama Don

El es viejo, trabajador, y tranquilo.

El no es rubio, atletico, ni pobre.

Le gusta dibujar y mirar la tele.

No le gusta escuchar musica ni correr.

Mi madre se llama Jackie

Ella es gorda, pelirroja, y perezosa

Ella no es alta, tonta, ni fuerte.

Le gusta leer y escribir.

No le gusta caminar ni cocinar.
