4/25/17 and 4/26/17

Today's agenda:

    • We began working on 5.2-Una fiesta en la casa (a party at the house). In 5.2 the students will learn: vocabulary corresponding with planning and carrying out a party. how to talk about chores and responsibilities. They will learn how to tell people what to do (commands). They will learn how to say they just did something using the verb acabar + de + action verb. Acabar + de means To have just...Students will also learn about 6 irregular verbs; poner (to put), dar (to give), salir (to leave, go out with), venir (to come), traer (to bring), and decir (to say or to tell).

The first hour today was spent on the chores and responsibilities at home. Attached is a document that contains pictures of the chores the students are responsible to learn. We have some accompanying worksheets that students need to get from me to assist in the learning process.

The second hour was spent working with 6 irregular verbs. I have attached a "cheat chart" for these 6 irrregular verbs. We worked on understanding the conjugation of these 6 verbs and then we played tic tac toe using the assigned 6 verbs. I am attaching the tic tac toe template also. Students should be working on understanding these 6 verbs both in meaning and conjugation at home.
