Today's agenda:

• • Students practiced jugar, saber, and conocer by playing battleship.

  • We worked on learning the 6.2 vocabulary by watching 6.2 power point and working on the matching worksheet.

  • Students read the presentacion de vocabulario on pages 326 and 327 in both Spanish and English then did the cierto/falso worksheet (turned in for credit).

  • I introduced the past tense of -ar verbs to the students. I used the "preterito" introduction worksheet to introduce this concept. Using page 331 I showed the students how the past tense in the -ar verbs conjugate. Students then did the -ar verb substitution practice worksheet for in class practice. This worksheet is attached.

• Monday there will be 2 quizzes. Both are fill in the blanks. Both will have a word bank provided. One quiz is on sports vocabulary from unit 6.1. The other is on saber, conocer, and jugar. Students will need to know how to conjugate all three verbs correctly.
