Students reviewed -ar verbs-both meaning and conjugation. We played both the dice game and tic tac toe, as well as doing a pass along card activity. Students must know the meaning and the conjugation of the following verbs.

Students will be taking an -ar verb quiz on Tuesday/Wednesday of this week. Students should study page 96 for grammatical understanding of verb conjugation. The quiz is a fill in the blank quiz and the sentences will look like this:
Los estudiantes estudian mucho en su clase de historia.
(to study)
Yo practico el espanol en mi clase a menudo.
(to practice)
We will be starting unit 2.2 on Tuesday/Wednesday once we finish the quiz. Unit 2.2 emphasizes the verb estar + adjective or location. This skill allows students to express where things are, and how someone is temporarily feeling. We will also work on the verb tener and ir, both of which we studied last unit. Lastly, we will be learning all the vocabulary for classroom objects and school places. Students should be preparing themselves for the 2.2 unit test which will take place next week, most likely Tuesday/Wednesday December 5th/6th.
