Academic agenda 8-26-15

For the first 3 days we have been working on basic greetings and introductory questions. By now the students should be able to carry on the following conversation:

• • Hola. Me llamo Mark Trotter. Como te llamas tu?

  • Hola. Me llamo Insert name here.

  • Encantado or mucho gusto

  • Igualmente or el gusto es mio.

  • Adios.

  • Adios, hasta luego.

We have worked on describing how we feel by answering the question: Como estas/como esta usted? the students have learned they can answer this several ways:

Estoy bien-i am well

Estoy mas o menos-I am so so

Estoy mal. I am doing poorly

We began working today on how to ask the question-where are you from:

De donde eres tu?

De donde es usted?

The answer to this question is: Yo soy de + your place of origin.

We have been working on the days of the week and this will be an on going task:

lunes-monday

martes-tuesday

miercoles-wednesday

jueves-thursday

viernes-friday

sabado-saturday

domingo-sunday
