• • Students took the Unit 2.1 quiz.

  • Students reviewed the verb Tener-To have (page 91)

• • Students did a paired activity with the verb tener. Students simply asked and answered 1-38 in pairs.

  • We reviewed -ar verb conjugation (page 96)

• We did a dice activity to increase understanding of -ar verb conjugations and meanings:

1) yo 2) mirar la television todos los dias

2) tu 3) a veces estudiar en la biblioteca

3) Susana 4) siempre sacar buenas notas en los examenes

4) Jose y Luis 5) rara vez llegar tarde a la escuela

5) Ustedes 6) tomar apuntes todos los dias

• Students followed this up with an -ar verb index card walk around talk n swap to increase understanding of conjugation and meaning of verbs

• Lastly we did a questioin and answer assignment off the board and turned in for credit. This assignment was to increase understanding of how to ask, how much or how many of something there is. For example: 20 bicycles-Cuantas bicicletas hay? Hay veinte bicicletas. Students were given 10 written clues:

So...depending on whether the noun is masculine or feminine, the question will read either cuantas? or cuantos?

Example:

hay tres profesoras.

hay doce ninos.
