Task 1
As a class organize vocabulary cards into different categories
Divide the class into groups (pairs). Each group needs to find one object from each category and place it on the board to match the vocabulary card.
For each item a student brings to the board they must describe where they found each item and how it can be used.
Example:
Item: Toothpaste
Where: I found the toothpaste in the bathroom.
How: I use toothpaste to brush my teeth.
Students will complete other prompts where they need to find different objects (scavenger hunt). Example: Find the star sunglasses and tell the teacher where you found them.
Post-task: Teacher will be assessing students as they complete activities.
Tracking student activity:
Scoreboard will be used to assign points to groups as they complete the tasks.
