Pro teacher: 13.50 $ X month
Pro School: Personalized plan in which you have to request a quote
Advantages:
Visual and auditory: Students learn vocabulary through images and sound.
Interactive: Questions and activities keep students engaged. Moreover, students can create the material.
Personalized: Students can practice comprehension, pronunciation and writing.
Evaluation: The teacher can see the students' results and identify areas where they need more support.

Contextualization
Target Age: 2nd grade
Target Language Level (based on CEFR): A1
Location: classroom
Students have been working on school materials, and this activity will help assess their understanding of the content. To complete the task, students will work in small groups. During the activity, they will watch a video and practice their English pronunciation by repeating aloud what is being said. When a question appears, the group will discuss the possible answers and reach a consensus. In order to ensure that all students speak English during the activity, we will assign the role of 'controller' to one member of each group.
Lesson Aims based on CEFR
Production: Students will create questions according to the content of the video (previously worked in class) (p. 70)
Interaction: Students will work together to reach agreements and to create a video with Edpuzzle (p. 83)
SWBATs
To develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills by selecting relevant content and creating engaging questions.
To develop a sense of ownership and pride in their created learning materials.
To improve their communication skills by clearly explaining concepts and providing helpful feedback.
Preparation
Students will need a device with internet access. They can access Edpuzzle on an internet browser, or they can download the app. They will need to sign up to use Edpuzzle or to have a code to access to a class created by the teacher. The page is user-friendly and students will need around 10-15 minutes to familiarize themselves with the website. They are given 20 free video credits while you begin, therefore they have limited attempts for the video creation.

SCAFFOLDING
Brief Description Activity Steps
Create groups of 2 to 4 children.
They will watch a video in which they have to repeat aloud what is being said.
Whenever a question appears, they will need to discuss in their group, using English, to decide on the correct answer and select it from a device.
Once the children have voted, the teacher will correct it aloud with their help.
