Target Group: 7/8 year olds (young learners)

Main Learning Objectives:

• Students will be able to identify 10 vocabulary words 

• Students will be able to identify 6 classroom action verbs 

• Students will be able to navigate 360 learning environments

Materials Needed:

• Classroom

• Computer 

• Projector 

• 360 camera 

• Momento 360 (or other 360 photo app)

• VR device (optional)

Activity Instructions

Pretask

• Teacher introduces new unit on school 

Maintask 

• Students will contextualize vocabulary learning by using the Momento 360 classroom. They will work in pairs and complete a worksheet as they identify the vocabulary related to classrooms and schools. They will match the classroom vocabulary with pictures on the worksheet. 

Post task

• The class will come together and discuss the vocabulary words together. 

Assessment Ideas

Teacher will grade the worksheet to verify students' understanding and participation during the activity.
