Group 5 - Clara Bolívar, Guillem Camprubí, Mar Martín and Berta Rodríguez
SHORT DESCRIPTION - What our activity is about?
In this activity, students will work on food-related vocabulary (burger, lettuce, tomato,...) by immersing themselves in a role-play inside a Fast Food Restaurant in the Immerse app. Students will use the headsets in pairs: one student is going to act as a customer and the other one as a shop assistant
By simulating this scenario, students will practice food vocabulary by using specific scaffolding provided by teachers: they will have language scaffolding cards with an image and the name of the food they want to order, for instance, a burger with tomato, lettuce, and pickles. In addition, they will also practice real-life scenarios such as having to pay in a shop: they will have scaffolding on payment tools such as credit cards or cash.
