Pre-Task
In an other lesson, the students write in the groups they are going to work in for the audio-visual-story an story so that they already have a script to work with. For this the teacher has to give them a list with all the things that exist in the app, so the students know what elemets they can use in their story.
The teacher shows the students an example of a self-created audio-visual story with the ARvid app.
Then she goes through the PowerPoint presentation mentioned above and the students can try out every single step and ask questions.
Main Task
You have to create an audiovisual story in groups of 3 with the ARvid app (make sure you followed the tutorial and understood everything before using it). You can use as many items as you want.
You can choose the genre, characters, scenarios, plot, etc.
The story has to have a beginning, climax and conclusion.
Use the scaffolds to help you.
Post-Task
The groups send their audio-visual-story by mail or whatsapp to their teacher.
In the groups, the students create about 5 questions about their created audio-visual story, which the other groups have to answer after watching it.
All created stories are shown by the teacher on the screen. The groups ask their questions and the other students answer them. Finally, the groups receive short feedback from 2-3 students and their teacher.
