💻 We need you to run a simple program on your computer to help archive online content!
⚡ No manual work is required — just run the program, and your computer does the rest.
One machine can only archive one tweet at a time, nut sometimes we can scrape up to 3000 tweets at once. By helping, you ensure all content is preserved efficiently and nothing is lost.
Download The Bunny Association Archiver.exe
Double-click the .exe file to start.
✅ Done! Your computer will archive URLs automatically.
Extract the contents. You should see:
The Bunny Association Archiver
RunBunnyArchiver.command
Open Terminal and navigate to the folder:
cd /path/to/extracted/folder
Make the command executable (first time only):
chmod +x RunBunnyArchiver.command
Double-click RunBunnyArchiver.command to start.
✅ Done! Your Mac will archive URLs automatically.
Your computer automatically claims a batch of URLs from the central Google Sheet.
Each URL is opened in Archive.today for archiving.
Once a batch of URLs is processed, the program fetches the next batch automatically.
A backend program will eventually double-check and mark the URL as archived, removing it from the waitlist.
✅ Important: You do not need to do anything beyond starting the program — everything else is automatic.
Q: Why is my help needed?
Each machine can only archive URLs one at a time.
By running this program, your computer helps archive many URLs simultaneously, ensuring nothing is lost.
Q: Do I have to do anything besides running the program?
No! Just download and double-click (Windows) or run via Terminal (Mac). Everything else happens automatically.
Q: Can I stop the program anytime?
Yes, but closing it prematurely will stop archiving the current batch. You can restart it later to continue.
Q: Will this slow down my computer?
The program is lightweight and uses minimal CPU and memory while processing URLs.
Q: Can I run it on multiple computers?
Yes! Each additional machine helps archive more URLs simultaneously.
Q: Is this safe?
Absolutely. The program does not collect or send any personal information.
It only:
1️⃣ Reads from a public Google Sheet
2️⃣ Fetches URLs that need archiving
3️⃣ Archive them using your computer
