Since the conflict between HYBE and ADOR’s founding CEO Min Hee-jin, it has become evident that Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein (MHDHH) have faced escalating mistreatment, lack of support, and a hostile working environment. HYBE and its sub-labels have actively undermined NewJeans’ career, subjected them to workplace harassment and ostracism, and excluded them from key decisions and opportunities. Following the replacement of ADOR’s management, these issues have intensified, leaving MHDHH without effective support or protection and exposing them to an even more antagonistic environment.
After NewJeans lost the lawsuit to break free from this hostile environment, HYBE has intensified efforts to dismantle NewJeans as a group and harm the members as professional artists and as individuals. They have forcibly separated the members, subjected some to unfair lawsuits, and coerced others to return to a hostile and unsupportive environment. At the same time, HYBE has actively attempted to dismantle any support systems available to the members, further isolating them and increasing their vulnerability.
HYBE has also conducted aggressive media campaigns and leveraged its influence to turn other HYBE fandoms against MHDHH. These actions have fuelled targeted racism, xenophobia, and misogynistic attacks against the members.
On top of this, numerous overlapping incidents and controversies involving NewJeans, their teams, and even their families have made it difficult to track the full scope of events.
This section serves as a central record of significant incidents affecting MHDHH. It documents instances of mistreatment alongside other controversies, management decisions, and challenges that have harmed their careers, working environment, and public perception. Its purpose is to provide a clear and reliable resource, making it easier for Bunnies and the general public to verify information amidst the widespread misinformation and media manipulation propagated by HYBE and its affiliates.
