AHW credits & industrial action; Huge turnout for pay meeting; National Campaign update; FTA conversions in Citizenship
Members will have seen HO/MB/001/23 which outlined the detail of the arrangements for crediting premium hours blocks for industrial action taken. As outlined, members are entitled to a credit on premium hours, no matter if the day of action included any of the premium block hours. At the time of the briefing, Home Office had agreed to supply a calculator to allow members to ensure that the credit is correct. However, despite continued requests by PCS, the calculator has not been forthcoming. Click here to read more

PCS Agency AA’s and AO’s in Citizenship will have recently been notified that providing they meet the qualifying criteria, they have the option to convert to Fixed Term Appointment (FTA) contracts with the department. A lot of our members in Citizenship, specifically at AA grade, have been in post for 6+ years. Some as long as 10+ years. Click here to read more

We are one month away from the beginning of a new financial year, which will mean the start of 2023 pay negotiations, and Brook Street members have still not received the previous years’ pay increase!
