Pay Meetings

Your chance to give your views on the 2020 pay offer

PCS Home Office Merseyside Branch and the PCS Home Office Group Executive Committee have arranged meetings for members to give views on the 2020 pay offer. How to join both sets of events is detailed below.

Pay meetings arranged by PCS Home Office Merseyside Branch on Skype

For Home Office Merseyside Branch members only

PCS Home Office Merseyside Branch is running several Pay meetings via Skype as follows:

Meeting A

Wednesday 21 October

14:00 - 14:30

Meeting B

Thursday 22 October

17:00 - 17:30

Meeting C

Friday 23 October

14:00 - 14:30

You will receive a mailshot soon to your work inbox which will include voting buttons. Please use those voting buttons to tell us which meeting you intend to join. We need to know this as there is an upper limit on the number of members who can join each event via Skype. Joining details will be sent you closer to the time.

The department have agreed 30 minutes time out of your working day for you to attend the events, hear what is going on, ask questions, get answers (if we don't know the answer we will feed back to the PCS pay team) and give your views.

Only those members replying via the voting buttons will be able to join the meetings.

Before the meetings you are encouraged to read the latest PCS pay briefing setting out the Home Office offer.

Register for PCS Zoom pay meetings (any PCS members in the Home Office can attend)

Members can register for PCS zoom meetings on either Wednesday 21 October at 6.30pm or Thursday 22 October at 12noon.

Members are encouraged to participate in local pay meetings where set up by their own branch (see above) to discuss the Home Office pay offer. Feedback from branches will form part of the PCS formal response to the offer. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic all meetings will be virtual.

For members who can’t get to their branch pay meetings or where they’re not taking place we’ve set 2 group pay meetings. Each can have up to 100 participants. These will be run via Zoom so when registering please provide an email address that can be used with Zoom on the device you intend to use for the pay meeting.

Registration will be via Eventbrite on a first come first served basis. Once registered you will receive an email response with a link for the meeting. For security and meeting management reasons you must not forward the link to anyone else.

For people with hearing impairments there will be a BSL signer for meetings 1 & 2.
