Need to get in touch with PCS Home Office Merseyside Branch?
PCS Home Office Merseyside Branch used to have an almost permanent presence in the PCS office (room 1.19) in the Capital Building where members could drop in to see us to discuss issues face to face. If you were based at one of the other sites covered by the branch you could ring the office and there would usually be somebody there.
This is no longer the case as facility time cuts (time off for your reps to undertake union duties) mean that we are no longer able to maintain that presence and many reps will be undertaking PCS work in their own time. We are a large branch with multiple workplaces and there may not always be a PCS rep near to you so we have these arrangements in place for you to contact your reps:
If you have a general enquiry eg. WFH arrangements, H&S issues, need to know your membership number, or if you just want to let us know about something that is happening in your workplace that you are worried about click here to send us an email.
If you need personal representation for an issue that you haven't been able to resolve yourself eg. bullying, disciplinary, sickness, WFH arrangements click here and complete our online form.

Here is some simple advice for all PCS members; including members who are representatives and members who are managers - who may be put under pressure to apply the current unagreed facility time guidance imposed by the Home Office Employee Relations Team (ERT) which governs how your local representatives can (or sometimes can't) get time off to represent you.
This advice is designed to help members get the representation they need when they need it in a hostile environment. Just follow the links below for the advice appropriate to you.
You can find out more about why we have needed to issue this advice here or if you have any queries on the issue you can email us here.
