Merseyside Branch Executive Committee is asking you to support these candidates.

The branch “Mandate Meeting” is one of the most important members’ meetings of the year. PCS Home Office Merseyside Branch sends 4 delegates to the PCS Home Office Group held this year on 25h May via Video Conference. Those delegates will cast votes on your behalf which will contribute to shaping PCS Home Office Group policy and the direction that the union will take over the next 12 months. At the “Mandate Meeting” you can instruct your delegates how they should vote on your behalf.

PCS has agreed with the department 60 minutes time away from work to attend this meeting which will consider the Home Office Group Conference agenda only. With only 60 minutes limiting time for lengthy discussion on each agenda item your Branch Executive Committee will make recommendations on the policies proposed at the conference and will invite you to support or oppose. Any that members are not happy with will be discussed.

The meeting will be held at 1pm on 13 May via Microsoft teams.

A Teams invite has been sent to all members' POISE inbox with joining details. The conference agenda was attached to the Team invite in PDF format and can also be found here (on non-Home Office devices).

PCS Home Office Merseyside Branch will arrange a separate meeting to consider the National Conference agenda before the Annual Delegate Conference begins (also online) on 13 June but the department has refused members paid time to attend and so attendance will be in member’s own time.
