Performance Management Members' Meeting

Members' Meeting: Performance Management - Process of change

Further to MB 07/21 and MB 43/20 PCS have been talking to the Home Office regarding a new Performance management system. As we are now in the process of formal consultation the GEC (Group Executive Committee) wanted to update members.

AGM

The Branch Annual General Meeting is your chance to have your say in the running of your Union at Branch, Departmental and National levels. The meetings are set for:

8 March at 12 noon & 9 March at 5pm (both Skype)

Use the voting buttons in any of the emails recently sent to your POISE inbox to tell us which meeting you want to join. A link will be sent to you closer to the date of the meeting. The agenda with details of motions and nominations received is available here.

As we have previously reported in MB/43/20 and MB 07/21 the department had announced that they were intent on moving to a new performance management system. They have now provided us with the outline for the new Performance management process and as such we would like to hear your views.

Under normal circumstances we would ask your branch reps to come out and engage with you on a face to face basis, but as we are working to a tight timescale to provide consultation feedback and, at the time of writing, remain in lockdown; the GEC propose to speak with members by virtual means in an online meeting.

It is proposed that we hold a Zoom meeting with members on Friday 5 March at 3pm. To allow us to provide access to as many members as possible we would ask that members register their interest in attending through the link provided below. This will give access to an event page upon which you can register and the meeting link will be forwarded to your chosen email address automatically.

Click here for the Meeting Registration Link.

PCS want to hear from as many members as possible to ensure that your views on the proposals are heard and can be expressed in our response to Home Office. If you have colleagues who are not members, but would like to put forward views on this subject, now is the time for them to join PCS and ensure that their voice is heard.
