WHO: High school students 11th-12th grade
WHAT: The Noguchi Museum's Making Your Mark program is a paid studio art-making intensive for rising junior and senior New York City public high school students. Teen participants of Making Your Mark meet at The Noguchi Museum on Mondays–Thursdays, 11 am–4 pm, from July 6–31, 2026. The program culminates in a student exhibition in the Education Studio, opening to the public on Friday, July 31, 4–7 pm.Drawing inspiration from Isamu Noguchi’s life, artistic practice, and current exhibition Noguchi’s New York, students will learn interdisciplinary approaches to sculpture and explore aspects of their own identity, creativity, and self-discovery.All art materials will be provided and students will receive a $600 stipend for full participation in the program, with the option to receive a reimbursement for transportation to the Museum.In-person interviews will be conducted for a select number of applicants. WHAT: Love technology and enjoy visiting your local library? Want to make a difference in your community while building your resume and gaining valuable work and leadership experiences?
Consider applying for the Brooklyn Public Library's Teen Techies internship program. Through the program, participating interns will learn new computer skills in a two-week training institute in the fall, and then use those skills to help BPL patrons use library computers throughout the year. Interns will also be assisting BPL's adult librarians by working as lab assistants and assisting library patrons with their research and technology needs.Interns who participate in the internship will receive stipends both for completing their initial training as well as for completing their library service hours. In addition, interns will also receive community service credits.

STEM MATTERS NYC, AEROSPACE CAMP TEACHING ASSISTANT (PAID)
WHO: 9th, 10th, 11th Graders
WHAT: Summer Design Institute (SDI) is a five-to-six-week summer program for high school students interested in media and design, technology, engine. Do you enjoy working with elementary and middle school age students? Are you interested in aeronautics, space flight, astronomy, robotics, and 3D printing? The NYC Center for Aerospace and Applied Mathematics (NYCCAAM) is looking for responsible, motivated, and energetic high school students to be Aerospace Camp Teaching Assistants. Get immersed in every aspect of Aerospace Camp, working with campers in grades 5-7 using LEGO SPIKE Prime robotic kits, flight simulators, and 3D design software. At the conclusion of the program, Teaching Assistants will work together, using newly honed special skills and knowledge, to develop and lead a space or flight-themed camp lesson.

WHAT: The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture of The Cooper Union is proud to announce our 2026 summer intensive program that features a virtual curriculum accessible to students worldwide. As an institution that is committed to the pursuit of excellence and learning, we advance our thinking through radical experimentation between various forms of online engagements, digital interface, virtual modeling and representation techniques. The pleasure of making and experimentation are fundamental to our discovery of architecture and the innovation of the discipline, as well as a deeply thoughtful form of social and cultural dialogue where the imaginary becomes possible.
This five-week intensive is designed to familiarize students with architectural thinking and design while developing a portfolio of projects. Students who attend the program and successfully complete all of the assignments will receive an official Certificate of Completion from The Cooper Union. Program Tuition: $3,605.* Students will be responsible for purchasing supplies. Application Fee: $40*
