LUCILLE LORTEL THEATRE'S NYC PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL PLAYWRITING FELLOWSHIP (PAID)
WHO: Highschool Students 15-19 years old
WHAT: The Lucille Lortel Theatre's NYC Public High School Playwriting Fellowship is an exciting 11-week playwriting mentorship program focused on sparking and showcasing young creative voices. Up to seven fellows will be chosen, one from each of the five boroughs and one each from D75 and D79 schools. The fellowship culminates with an evening of staged readings of these original student-written one-act plays with professional actors. The program is FREE and open to any NYC public high school student with something to say.

WHO: Highschool Students 10th and 11th Grade
WHAT: High school students, from underrepresented minorities in medicine, are given the opportunity to meet and learn from physicians and other health professionals at WCM. HPREP students are paired with a medical student mentor, who they work with to write a college essay, resume, and research paper. Students participate in an anatomy lab presentation, and other practical workshops discussing the college application process, how to write a research paper, and applying for financial aid.

WOMEN'S TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING & COMPUTER SCIENCE (UNPAID)
WHO: Highschool Students IN 11th Grade
WHAT: The MIT Women's Technology Program (WTP) is a rigorous four-week summer academic experience to introduce high school students to engineering through hands-on classes, labs, and team-based projects in the summer after 11th grade. WTP is designed for students who are excited about learning, have demonstrated their ability to excel at math and science in their high school classes, and who have no prior background (or very little) in engineering with few opportunities to explore these fields. This program is designed for students unsure about their future studies to help them explore the world of engineering and see if it's the right fit

WHEN: The Mechanical Engineering track of WTP will be a residential program for summer 2025, with housing provided for the duration of the program in the MIT dorms.

WHO: Highschool Students 9th and 10th Grade
WHAT: At Northwell Health, we’re made for discovering, developing and delivering life-changing medical breakthroughs. The Northwell Health Medical Marvels Competition is one way we’re inspiring and empowering the next generation of healthcare visionaries. Established in 2013, Medical Marvels exposes 9th and 10th grade high school students to the incredible world of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers. As we raise these students’ awareness of the multidisciplinary impact of STEM careers, we encourage their creativity while helping school districts and industry leaders develop assets and improve the economic future of students. We invite high school students to participate in the 2025 Medical Marvels Competition.

WHO: Highschool Students 9th and 12th Grade
WHAT: Teen Reviewers and Critics has a place for anyone and everyone. We offer FREE writing workshops in the visual arts, music, theater, dance, media, multi-arts and film. A once a week, afterschool program that takes place over ten weeks in the Fall or Spring. School credit awarded at some schools – inquire at your school. You’ll get a chance to:
Attend cutting-edge theater, dance, and music performances
Meet arts-industry professionals
Visit galleries, museums, professional offices
Learn about the art of discussion and journalism by publishing your experiences on our online blog, The JAR
Produce media content
Collaborate and connect with other art enthusiasts – basically, make new friends – and so much more!
