NEW OPPORTUNITIES
WHO: New York City high school students, grades 9–12.
WHAT: Youth Insights (YI) Artists is a free after-school program for New York City high school students in ninth through twelfth grade. Each semester, YI brings teens together with contemporary artists and museum staff, providing opportunities to collaborate, discuss art critically, think creatively, and create art inspired by this exchange. Students will learn various artmaking techniques and engage in discussions on contemporary issues that resonate with their experiences while building meaningful friendships. They will also form relationships with artists and educators, culminating in creating an original work of art for a final exhibition showcasing the skills and ideas they developed throughout the program.

WHO: High-school age young men of color seeking a quick, immersive dive into tech.
WHAT: All Star Code creates economic opportunity by developing a new generation of boys and young men of color with an entrepreneurial mindset who have the tools they need to succeed in a technological world. Dare Greatly, Celebrate Failure, and Tell Your Story, are used in our programs to give young men the skills, networks, and mindsets they need to succeed through technology.

WHEN: in-person; Students will be placed in AM OR PM classes from Monday through Friday from 9 am - 1:00 pm or Monday through Friday 11 am - 4 pm

WHO: Sophmores, Juniors or seniors in high school
WHAT: The Manhattan District Attorney’s High School Internship Program is a rigorous five-week internship that provides students with an insider’s view of the criminal justice system. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in workshops and discussions, participate in a mock trial program, develop professionalism in an office setting, and more. Interns will be paid minimum wage.
