WHAT: The NYC Mayor's Office administers all city services, public property, most public agencies, and enforces
all city, state, and federal laws within New York City. New York City’s Mayor, Eric Adams is head of the

WHAT: The Karim Kharbouch Coding Fellowship is a 12-month program that starts with paid, virtual summer training and is followed by monthly career & college access workshops and coaching. Graduates receive support with obtaining internships and gaining access to college STEM programs. The Fellowship is free, and participants are given a stipend during summer instruction.
Fellows will use industry-standard technologies to learn how to create a brand, understand selling, create a proper wireframe, learn basic HTML & CSS coding, and more. The Fellowship will support participants in securing summer internships and admissions to college STEM programs.

WHEN: a 6-week summer session requiring 16 hours of weekly engagement and an academic phase with a monthly commitment of 2-3 hours.

WHO: Rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders
WHAT: At the School of Interactive Arts (SIA)'s 6-week summer camp, offered by nonprofit Urban Arts, students learn coding, digital art, animation, music & storytelling through game development.

WHAT: STEM Matters NYC is offering FREE summer enrichment programs at DOE experiential learning centers and cultural institutions throughout the five boroughs. Students entering grades 1-9 in September 2024 can apply for weeklong camps and will be selected via lottery. Students entering grades 10-12 in September 2024 can apply for multi-week programs and will be selected by a review committee. All programs are application-based, and high school programs require a teacher reference form. Don’t miss out, as spots are limited.

WHO: Must be a rising senior attending a high school in NYC
WHAT: Brooklyn Interns for Arts & Culture (BIAC) is a paid, one-year college, career, and life-readiness after school internship program that welcomes a cohort of 15 New York City high school students each year.
During the program, BIAC Interns learn what it takes to have a career in arts management, get support with post-high school planning, and learn critical wellness practices to help them manage life's transitions while building community.
BIAC empowers all participants to be their most authentic selves while contributing to the community around them and sharpening and vision, voice and power!
