BANK OF AMERICAN STUDENT LEADERS PROGRAM (PAID) Deadline: 01/17/24
WHO: Juniors or seniors in high school
WHAT: Every year, hundreds of community-minded high schoolers are accepted into the Student Leaders program. They get first-hand experience in serving their communities through a paid eight-week internship with nonprofits like Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Habitat for Humanity.They also get to see how nonprofits, governments and businesses collaborate to meet local needs by participating in the national Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C. Many of the students use their new-found skills to create more change and improve more lives, with inspiring stories of enthusiasm and commitment.
WHERE: If you are selected for the Student Leader program, your internship will be at a nonprofit organization that is local to you.
WHEN: an 8-week program, inclusive of the week spent at the Student Leader Summit in Washington, DC

WHO: Sophmores, Juniors or seniors in high school
WHAT: The Manhattan District Attorney’s High School Internship Program is a rigorous five-week internship that provides students with an insider’s view of the criminal justice system. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in workshops and discussions, participate in a mock trial program, develop professionalism in an office setting, and more. Interns will be paid minimum wage.

WHO: High-school age young men of color seeking a quick, immersive dive into tech.
WHAT: All Star Code creates economic opportunity by developing a new generation of boys and young men of color with an entrepreneurial mindset who have the tools they need to succeed in a technological world. Dare Greatly, Celebrate Failure, and Tell Your Story, are used in our programs to give young men the skills, networks, and mindsets they need to succeed through technology.

WHEN: in-person; Students will be placed in AM OR PM classes from Monday through Friday from 9 am - 1:00 pm or Monday through Friday 11 am - 4 pm

WHO: High-school Students
WHAT:The CPHD course is the premier core Passive House professional training for architects, engineers, consultants, developers, policymakers, and more. The course is supported by the 30-year history of global technical leadership of the Passive House Institute. CPHD course registrants will now receive access to the Using PHPP in Passive House Design and Certificationcourse that is jointly provided by PHN and Peel Passive House Consulting Ltd. In this course, students will learn how to use the PHPP for residential building design and certification. Participants will be guided step-by-step through the relevant worksheets while learning the correct conventions for measurements and calculations. Proper documentation will also be covered in detail. A case study will provide participants with practical experience in completing and documenting PHPP calculations for building certification.
*Highschool Students are elegible for discount

WHAT: The Yale Women in Economics Scholarship Program is a unique opportunity for young women of color who will graduate in the class of 2025) who want to become financially literate and excel in their academic and professional pursuits. Past scholars have earned $45M+ in scholarships and grants to attend the higher education institutions of their dreams.

APOLLO THEATER HIGH SCHOOL INTERSHIP PROGRAM (PAID)
WHO: 11th and 12th GRADE High-school Students
WHAT: The Apollo Theater Academy High School Internship Program provides high school students with a paid opportunity for professional development as they explore administrative, programming, and production careers in the arts and entertainment industries. Through hands-on training and career development workshops, interns gain experience in a real-world work environment while connecting with industry professionals.

WHEN: Arts Administration is 10 weeks from 3 to 6 pm, generally; special events hours can differ.
Technical Stage Production is 6 weeks, Monday-Thursday 10am-5pm and Friday 10am-1pm
