CTE INDUSTRY SCHOLARS SPRING 2023 PROGRAM (PAID)
WHO: 9th - 12th grade Highschool Students
WHAT: The CTE Industry Scholars Program (CTE ISP) supports CTE high school students in advancing their post-secondary education and career aspirations through valuable work-based learning activities. CTE ISP is comprised of an 80 hour, industry-specific Spring semester internships and a variety of career activities aimed at helping CTE students (ages 16-18) apply their skills in authentic industry settings, while also gaining real-world work experience. The internship experience provided to the students is a paid internship funded by the DOE.

Automotive & Transportation (Aerospace, Mechatronics, Electrical Majors)
Construction (Civil Engineering and Architecture Majors)
Information Technology (Software Major)
Media and Design (Media and ID Majors)

Create an account through the PARTICIPANT'S PORTAL. This website will allow you to apply for the program, track your hours/wages, submit time sheets, and download your W2.
Upload your Resume to the Participant's Portal.

URBAN LEADERSHIP FELLOWS PROGRAM (PAID)
WHO: Graduating 12th grade Highschool Students
WHAT: The Urban Leadership Fellows (ULF) Program is a collaboration between The Municipal Forum of New York, Inc., and Futures and Options, which enables New York City students to gain valuable hands-on work experience and training in the Municipal Finance industry. This immersive six week summer program exposes graduating high school seniors to the Municipal Finance industry through supported, paid summer internships.
The ULF program emphasizes the following: internships and training in municipal finance, one-on-one mentorship, networking activities, and supplemental workshops. Each week focuses on one particular area of interest, including: bond school, issuer & financial advising, legal, rating agencies and insurers, investment banking, and investing.

APPLIED RESEARCH INNOVATIONS IN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING (ARISE) AT NYU (PAID)
WHO: 10th-11th grade Highschool Students
WHAT: Discover a transformative learning experience at NYU's ARISE program, an opportunity-based initiative designed to immerse students in the world of STEM. Building upon the success of the previous 7-week program, for 2024 ARISE has expanded to a comprehensive 10-week format, providing an enriched journey for students eager to delve into the realms of scientific exploration.
This program covers interdisciplinary topics and STEM disciplines such as Bio-and Molecular Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, AI, and Machine Learning via hands-on work in research labs.
