WHO: 9 - 11 Grade High school Students

WHAT: The Baruch College STEP (Science and Technology Entry Program) Academy is a New York State Education Department-funded pre-college program for middle and high school students interested in pursuing careers in the STEM professions. The program invites eligible students to participate in workshops and enrichment courses in math, science, SAT, and college preparatory workshops.

ARAS PIONEER TEENS SUMMER ART PROGRAM  APPLICATION (UNPAID)

WHO: High school Students

WHAT: ARAS is a unique archive of mythological and symbolic images from all over the world.

Our mission is to bring awareness to the power of symbolic images and the profound role they play in our lives today.

ARAS Pioneer Teens is an intensive FREE two-week art program for teens ages 14 - 17 in New York City.

Participants will:

* Create original works of art inspired by universal symbols

* Participate in virtual/in-person field trips to museums or galleries and artists' studios for inspiration

* Learn how to use libraries and archives

* Meet with working artist(s)

* Gain confidence as creative individuals and make lasting connections with teens from different schools

WHAT: This event aims to bring together STEM organizations, colleges, universities, STEM professionals, and companies to provide high school and college students with the opportunity to learn more about resources and prospects that can support them as they explore STEM-based careers. There will be food, cool STEAM professionals, and more!

WHAT: Explore how women across the spectrum of race, class, and sexuality exercised power and effected change. Be a digital changemaker and learn how to use HTML and CSS to design, code, and build your own websites to share powerful stories about women in history.
