FELLOWSHIP OF INNOVATION RESEARCH (UNPAID)
WHO: For students currently in grade 10
WHAT: Gain leadership skills and make a positive impact in your community through Seeds of Fortune's Innovation Research Fellowship
for current high school sophomores. Through this hybrid program, students will be matched with Fortune 500 companies alongside other students to research and advocate for their communities while also helping corporations engage more deeply with local communities. Students accepted into the program will create virtual consultant groups with a partner corporation for 10 weeks in the spring and summer of their junior year. In the fall and spring of senior year, students will receive assistance with the college application process. Industries that will be represented throughout this fellowship include healthcare, beauty, tech, finance, and more

WHAT: Women-owned businesses receive less than 3% of all VC investments. Seeds of Fortune is challenging the Status Quo by developing young women innovators to participate in our competitive Girls Start-Up Accelerator to learn funding from an earlier age.
This one-year program, with a paid internship component, helps HS Scholars access the tools, resources, and networks necessary to supercharge social impact ideas.
We help them formulate their ideas and provide the necessary feedback and funding streams to turn their ideas into action. SEEDS OF FORTUNE INC.’S GIRLS START-UP BUSINESS ACCELERATOR INTERNSHIP ASSISTS PARTICIPANTS IN SETTING UP SOCIAL ENTERPRISE BUSINESS IDEAS AND PROFESSIONAL WEBSITES THAT IMPACT THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITIES!

WHAT: Brooklyn Interns for Arts & Culture (BIAC) is a paid, one-year college, career, and life-readiness after school internship program that welcomes a cohort of 15 New York City high school students each year.
During the program, BIAC Interns learn what it takes to have a career in arts management, get support with post-high school planning, and learn critical wellness practices to help them manage life's transitions while building community.
BIAC empowers all participants to be their most authentic selves while contributing to the community around them and sharpening and vision, voice and power!
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS + BENEFITS:

FIRST TECH FUND HIGH SCHOOL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM (UNPAID) Deadline: 05/11/24
NEW YORK HALL OF SCIENCE'S STEM CAREER EXPO (UNPAID)
WHO: low-income 11th- and 12th-grade high school students who need access to either their own personal computer or Internet access in the home
WHAT: First Tech Fund is recruiting rising 11th and12th grade students for their yearlong, hybrid high school fellowship program. Fellows will participate in weekly virtual college access and career exploration workshops, be eligible to receive free technology depending on their technology needs (laptop and/or WiFi hotspot), participate in social, community and corporate in-person events, and receive individualized mentorship from young professionals. Beyond building foundational skills, fellows meet virtually with industry-specific mentors on a monthly basis, and attend networking, professional development, and volunteer events with our corporate and community partners throughout the year. Participants are eligible to receive free technology laptop and/or WiFi hotspot based on their individual needs. The laptop can be kept so long as they successfully complete the fellowship program. Upon successful completion of the fellowship program and attendance of 75% or more events, the laptop would be yours to keep.
