SMF9

SMF9 (more commonly known as DaKux, also known as pixonx,or violet) is a French Miiverse clone developer and a former editor of Miiverse Clonapedia. He was a developer for Shell, a moderator of pizza.closedverse.itisadomain.net, and the creator of Nextverse and multiple Closedverse rehosts, most notably wakemeupinside.cf.

History

SMF9 has been a member of Miiverse clones since March of 2019.

His very first clone was Niiverse, which was a part of the bigger Nii U Project, which has since shut down. Niiverse was based off Cedar and Uiiverse. After creating Niiverse, he made Diiverse in October of 2019, with the help of PF2M who ran the server. Diiverse lasted a week before shutting down due to a raid.

SMF9 took a break from Miiverse clones, until he became a moderator for cloned.pizza. He eventually learned Python and made his first Closedverse rehost, which was later raided by Hamsta. On June 16, 2020, he created his alleged "final" rehost, wakemeupinside.cf.

SMF9 announced his departure from the Miiverse clone scene on July 10, 2020, and stated that he would transfer ownership of the site to Luke. This was following a claim from Luna, one of the site's owners, that he had attempted to erp with at least two female users on wakemeupinside.cf. SMF9 claimed that this was done as a joke. Following the shutdown of the main Uiiverse domain on July 13, 2020, the site was changed to an HTML page that had screenshots as evidence of SMF9 being a "creep" and a "bigot".

In August of 2020, SMF9, along with a group of other developers, started the project known as the "Next U Project", which included Nextverse, a Miiverse clone based off of Indigo. However, on August 31, Nextverse was shut down and was no longer part of the Next U Project.

On September 5, 2020, SMF9 released a Cedar rehost under barkenergetic.000webhostapp.com. Not much is known about this rehost, and it was quickly deleted.

On September 20, 2020, SMF9 released a Closedverse rehost known as Clovbdvrsss. It was shut down on November 3.

On November 23, 2020, SMF9 released a rehost of the Miiverse clone Ultima. It was shut down on November 25 due to lack of activity.

On January 10, 2021, SMF9 released the Closedverse rehost "Ingdido2" under wakemeupinside.cf after anonymously uploading a teaser on December 31, 2020, though the logo was soon replaced by the regular Closedverse logo. Following the user Adrian acquiring staff on the Closedverse rehost and communities being vandalized and deleted, SMF9 replaced one of the communities with one known as "end", and stated that he deleted all accounts, disabled sign-ups, and planned to fully delete the site a week later. He also claimed that he would not make any more Miiverse clones, and discouraged others from making more.

Despite his previous statement claiming that he would not make more Miiverse clones, SMF9 would create a rehost of Uiiverse under heil-hitler.great-site.net on February 4, 2021, which would later shut down. He would also create a rehost of Indigo under kokomo-paradise.gq. On February 26, his account would get deleted, though he was able to recover the website on March 1 following Adrian's spamming and deletion of every account. SMF9 would change the site to a Closedverse rehost, and later a recovered database of wakemeupinside.cf.

kokomo-paradise.gq would shut down on March 14, 2021. That day, SMF9 created a rehost of Oasis under oasis.500percentnig.ga as a replacement. Pip made an announcement to members of his Discord server to ignore the link to the rehost if SMF9 sent it, and to not sign up since the site can get users' IPs. SMF9 claimed that he had no way of viewing users' IPs. The day after the rehost was made, Freenom, the domain provider, banned the domain, causing SMF9 to move the rehost to wakemeupinside.cf. However, on March 16 Freenom banned this domain as well, causing SMF9 to buy a domain from another provider. The rehost would be moved to le-kokomo.party.

On March 21, 2021, SMF9, with the help of Adrian and Sosig, deleted all posts and communities and turned the Oasis rehost into "Miipedia: A Clone Encyclopedia", or simply "Miipedia" for short. Miipedia aimed at being a Miiverse clone-based encyclopedia for clones, without the alleged bias of Miiverse Clonapedia. SMF9 would create multiple logos for the site, as well as a loading icon featuring Adrian's rotating Mii. SMF9 shut down Miipedia on March 26, 2021 and replaced it with a rehost of Closedverse. This rehost would later be shut down.

On April 5, 2021, SMF9 would bring back sleepinginside.cf, originally used for Clovbdvrsss. Adrian would post Pip's address on this site, and SMF9 was known to have posted Kitty's IP there, though whether or not he posted more users' IPs is unknown. Following the rehost's shutdown the next day, SMF9 would cease making Miiverse clones, though he would create a Discord server known as MiiHome. According to Sosig, SMF9 intended this to be a Miiverse clone of sorts, though it would later be deleted.
