Miiverse Clone RPG

"Miiverse Clone RPG is a game made in under two weeks, with Undertale's battle system, and the ability to spare or kill."

Miiverse Clone RPG is a game developed by Pip. It was first revealed on April 1, 2021 in an April Fools' Day video by Pip, alongside the announcement of an Indigo rehost. While the video stated that it would be released later that day, it was made available on Windows as an executable file on April 2, with an online port in development.

It can be downloaded here.

Plot

The game tells a story where Miiverse clones are portrayed as physical locations that were sealed away. The game initially takes place on Oasis Island, an island that houses the remnants of Miiverse clones and their users. After Arian was sighted tampering with the old clones, Pip, former "god of clones", is recruited by PF2M to search across each clone (Oasis, Ciiverse, Cedar, and Indigo), in order to find the pieces to key that will unlock the way to Closedverse.

Gameplay

The game is a turn-based RPG, with its battles being similar to that of the game Undertale. Battles are initiated through random encounters in the overworld. You have the option to spare or kill enemies, though unlike Undertale this does not affect the outcome of the story. Bosses are unable to be killed. Enemy attacks are also like those of Undertale, with attacks being bullets that the player must dodge.

The player takes control of Pip. Throughout the game, Pip can use items and equip gear. Oasis Island acts as the hub world of the game, and former clone users can be found as NPCs and be interacted with. Notable NPCs include 7SMITE, who gives Pip equipment at the start of the game, Gino, who sells items, and Jokko, the "lore master" who allows the player to refight bosses once the game is completed.
