Kai's bird game, by Kai is an online game currently managed by SRGNation. Contrary to the name, it is not really known who actually made the game; SRGNation initially stated that Seth created it, but gave credit to Kai afterward. The game was playable on Cedar at one point, and was also playable under the domain nova.lol. SRGNation advertises the game on his itch.io page and on Uiiverse.

The game can be played here. This specific "Unity Edition" was created by SRGNation. It is currently in version 1.3.1. The original game's HTML file can be downloaded here.

On March 8, 2020, ioletsgo created a Scratch project known as Kai's Bird Game, By Kai- Scratch Edition.

At some point in October 2020, PF2M hosted the original version of Kai's bird game, by Kai on closed.pizza, formerly the URL for Closedverse.

Gameplay

As the title suggests, the game involves controlling a white bird with the mouse. The player has to avoid hitting the black bird, which chases after the white bird. The black bird's speed will gradually rise. For every second that has passed since the game started, the score (displayed on the screen as "crap time") will go up by 1. If the player touches the black bird, the game is over, and the score will be presented as "your shit score was [number]".

Starting with the Unity version, the game has three obstacles: airplanes, bombs, and acid rain. If these hit the player, the enemy bird's speed will rise, but if it hits the enemy bird, its speed will lower. A message displaying "[Obstacle] incoming!" will appear on the screen. Airplanes appear from one side of the screen and travel horizontally to the other side. Acid rain falls diagonally in small green pellets. Bombs appear on random areas, indicated by scope icons, and they will disappear when they collide with either of the birds but don't explode. In version 1.3.1, a rare event involving the wind occurs.

The gameplay of ioletsgo's Scratch version is somewhat similar to the original version of the game. The black bird's speed is determined by the time, and when it touches the white bird, the time resets, slowing the black bird down (there is no game over scene in this version).
