Communities
A community is a place where users can make posts. Communities can be created by admins of a clone on most sites. Communities have rectangular banners that usually display the community name, and a small square icon displaying the community symbol. Common communities for a Miiverse clone include:
General Discussion/Anything Goes Community: These communities are mainly for casual posting about any particular topic, similar to the New Super Luigi U and Wii Fit U communities on Miiverse. Users typically post memes and other images here. They are usually the most active of all the communities, and are the most common communities that admins vandalize.
Serious Discussion Community: These communities are for more serious conversations. Users can expect to see personal posts, hot takes, and political posts. Non-serious posts such as memes are not allowed in these communities, unless they add to a user's post.
Artwork Sharing Community: These communities allow users to showcase their own art pieces.
Announcements Community: These communities are locked only to the owner(s) of the clone and occasionally the admins. They contain updates about the clone, such as additions, improvements, and bug fixes.
Most clones contain several communities for specific video games or video game series.
On some clones, users can, regardless of what administrative power they have on the site, create a community of their own. Typically, only one community can be made per account.
The icons, banners and descriptions of a community from various clones will be displayed on the bottom of the article if it was available on multiple clones and could be retrieved through archive websites. The "community number" below the description refers to the identifying number at the end of the URL for the community, after /communities/ or /titles/. For example, the Anything Goes Community's community number on Closedverse is 6, so going to closed.pizza/communities/6 would have lead to it.
