Sandwich World

Sandwich World (also known as SWorld) was a Ciiverse-based Miiverse clone made by Term on May 5, 2021. It was hosted under epikkat.42web.io, a URL that was previously used to rehost Uiiverse, with said rehost being shut down in early May after Term found out that he didn't have permission to use Uiiverse code.

The day after Sandwich World was created, a wiki for it was made by the user Rix under sandwich-world-miiverse.fandom.com titled "Sandwich World Wiki : a encyclopedia of this strange Miiverse clone". According to the wiki, Term was considering using Openverse code for the clone, but after concluding that the code was too buggy he considered using MV World code, though ultimately settled on using Ciiverse code. MV World code would eventually be used for a rehost known as SocialWorld, which was initially a rehost of Cedar.

Sandwich World was archived on May 15, 2021 due to inactivity, and users can no longer sign in or sign up for it. The nicknames of all users have been replaced with "account", and each user had the default Ciiverse profile picture.

On June 1, 2021, Sandwich World was brought back temporarily. Users with accounts could sign up and make posts, though sign-ups remained disabled. Sandwich World was eventually shut down entirely.

On August 13, 2021, Sandwich World was brought back under sworld.webs.nf. On August 26, Sandwich World was suspended alongside CloneMii and UniMii. All three sites were brought back the next day.

As of January 2022, Sandwich World has been shut down due to a major bug found by Term. Term decided that the site was too old to be worth maintaining. He also states that the database for Sandwich World still exists.
