Epic Sauce Fortnite Death Punch, or ESFDP for short, is a metal band formed by clone user Gnarly some time after he became a prominent figure on Closedverse in mid 2018. Early on, most of the band's songs were Miiverse clone related, and usually focus on Miiverse clone drama. By the release of the second album, "The Second Coming", there were less Miiverse clone-related songs. Ever since the shutdown of Oasis, there haven't been any Miiverse clone related songs, though the usage of Miis is still common in some art for singles.
On March 25, 2020, Gnarly made an announcement on Twitter about the upcoming third volume of Epic Sauce Fortnite Death Punch, Vol. III: Third Times a Charm, emphasizing that it will have better production quality and be the heaviest sounding of the band's albums. Though a few songs for the album have been made, the album was either scrapped for or renamed to Modern Day Twitter Shitfest on June 29, 2020, which is the latest album Gnarly worked on. Its release status is unknown, but it is likely to have been scrapped.
Epic Sauce Fortnite Death Punch has a large range of genres across multiple songs. The now suspended Twitter account for the band referred to the band's genre as "clone-core," but the music didn't tend to stick to a single style. To give an example of multiple genres across multiple songs, a song like "Eric Will Never Be A Girl" has a thrash metal style to it, and there are songs like "Kpop Fucking Sucks" which have a more death metal/metalcore vibe to it. Besides metal-based songs, there are also songs that move away from metal completely, such as "Oh You Like JoJo? Go Fuck Yourself", which is closer to pop-punk.

ESFDP's songs are posted on Gnarly's main channel, and have also been uploaded to SoundCloud. A full list of the band's songs (in no specific order) can be found here. NoodlesNetwork is the current label that owns the rights for ESFDP to be released on music platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music, and has also reuploaded the band's first album on YouTube. Epic Fortnite Tales is available on iTunes for $8.91 (99 cents for each song).
On July 13, 2020, Gnarly's channel was terminated, and most of the Epic Sauce Fortnite Death Punch songs have been deleted. The only songs that have survived on YouTube are the band's first album, which was reuploaded to YouTube by NoodlesNetwork, and various miscellaneous songs that were reuploaded by random YouTube users. The majority of Epic Sauce Fortnite Death Punch's songs have been uploaded on Soundclound under the ESFDP Archive account, though some tracks have been lost.

Adrian was shown as the drummer in the animation for the song "Fuck You Mochi", though his involvement in the band at all is unknown.
Starting in 2024, former ESFDP member Eugene began releasing songs he created by himself under the ESFDP name. Despite Gnarly's lack of involvement, these releases are considered to be official ESFDP songs due to Eugene being an official member of the band. He released the first new song on Soundcloud on July 19, 2024, titled "The Only Good Transphobe is a Dead One".

Eugene claimed that the new Epic Sauce Fortnite Death Punch song was meant to be the antithesis of the original ESFDP, being a completely left-wing song instead of the right-leaning songs that ESFDP used to produce.
On July 20, 2024, Eugene released another ESFDP song, titled "Barthouse 12 Gauge To The Head".

On November 21, 2024, Eugene released an album under the Epic Sauce Fortnite Death Punch name, titled The Audio Equivalent of Chronic Constipation. This album contained four songs: "Jennifer 2", "Gay People Steal All The Hot Men From Me", "17 Gigabytes", and "Chris Chan Mother Fucker".
