Closedverse Out of Context (@ClosedverseOoC) was a Twitter account created by clone user ioletsgo dedicated to posting screencaps from Closedverse and other clones. The account was created in January 2020, with its first tweet dating January 25. The account stated that some of its tweets were made for documentation purposes. Closedverse Out of Context accepted directly messaged submissions, and retweeted Closedverse related content.
On March 8, 2020, the Closedverse Out of Context account created the Twitter moment "What Is Closedverse/Miiverse Clone?", with various Closedverse-related tweets attached to it.
On March 30, 2020, ioletsgo announced on the account that he would be stepping down, with another clone user, Broice, taking his place. ioletsgo announced on the account that he will still post on it occasionally.
The profile picture for Closedverse Out of Context was changed on April 5, 2020 to a drawing made by ioletsgo after the account made a poll. However, the poll's final results showed that most users voted for the official Closedverse logo to be used as the profile picture.
On April 14, 2020, ioletsgo tweeted on the account that Broice abandoned it, so he resumed being the main poster of Closedverse Out of Context.
The account's activity began to decline after July 2020, though the account still occasionally posts images from time to time.

On July 23, 2021, ioletsgo gave ownership of the account to the user Pip. Alongside the posts he made on the account, Pip would also periodically change the profile picture of the account, showing different albums made by Kanye West with the Closedverse logo on them.
The Closedverse Out of Context Twitter account was deactivated shortly after Pip's departure from the internet on September 15, 2021.
