Rewrittenverse was a Miiverse clone created by the user Murilo on March 20, 2021, under rewrittenverse.rf.gd. It was a rehost of Ciiverse created following the raid of Ciiverse Jr. The next day, the domain got suspended. Despite not saving a copy of the database, Murilo confirmed later that day that the clone would be coming back the next day, as the suspension would have ended.
Rewrittenverse was brought back as intended on March 22, 2021. Following its return, Rewrittenverse would be raided by Adrian, causing sign-ups to be disabled. Murilo would take down Rewrittenverse later that day, stating that he was finding a new domain for it.
On March 23, 2021, Rewrittenverse was brought back under rewrittenverse.heliohost.us, as a rehost of MV World. The site was given a logo and new community icons and banners.
On March 28, Rewrittenverse was reset, with all posts and users being deleted. Additionally, the site's logo would be revised. Communities would be overhauled and feature new icons and banners.
On April 2, Rewrittenverse was given a new logo. On April 7, the site was moved to rewrittenverse.murilo.heliohost.us.

On May 17, 2021, Murilo made a post in the Announcement Community stating that Rewrittenverse would permanently close on May 18 at 1:00 PM PST. Rewrittenverse shut down the following day, likely at the intended time. The site's home page displayed a thank you message for using the Rewrittenverse service, similar to that of Miiverse when it shut down in November of 2017. The page would be updated multiple times, with a link to the Miiverse clone Juice being included. On May 24, the message "Please stay away from any other Miiverse clones, such as the ones from Terminal." was added to the bottom of the site in bold. When confronted about the message, Murilo decided to remove it from the page. He then stated that he disliked Term's clones, claiming that Term copied his ideas and features, including his privacy policy. On May 25, 2021, Rewrittenverse's shutdown page became unavailable.
