bruhclone

bruhclone was a Miiverse clone created by Jackster (also known as bruhdude) on June 11, 2021 under bruhdudeclone.great-site.net. On June 13, the code for the site was changed to that of Galaxy Plaza.

Different Names

On June 21, 2021, bruhdude renamed the Miiverse clone to Pear, and also created new community icons and banners. On June 27, 2021, Pear's sign-ups were closed "due to the current/past events of clones", according to bruhdude. As of July 2021, the name of the clone was reverted to bruhclone. Under a new database, bruhdude renamed the site to Biiverse. The site was reverted back to the bruhclone name and the old database on July 24, 2021. On July 26, sign-ups for the site were disabled, though they were re-enabled later that day.

As of September 2021, bruhclone was moved to the domain of UniMii, unimii.webs.nf. It would later shut down temporarily before returning on October 24, 2021. During this time, bruhclone was once again renamed to Biiverse.

As of December 13, 2021, Biiverse's name has been reverted to bruhclone, and became compatible with Terminal Network.

As of January 22, bruhclone has been replaced by a Miiverse clone known as starmii under the same link. starmii has its own logo, as well as a pink background.

Shutdown

On January 29, 2022, starmii (which was renamed to bruhclone v2) was shut down alongside two other Miiverse clones, CloneMii and Silver Club. bruhclone v2's shutdown was initially temporary, and the site was announced to come back on March 15.  However, as of Feburary, the shutdown was considered permanent.

Revivals

As of April 2022, bruhclone was brought back under its original domain as a private Miiverse clone that users could only sign up for if they had a registration code. It was eventually suspended.

As of June 2022, a new version of bruhclone was made under bc.bruhdude.webs.nf. Users could sign in normally (the clone was still private, however), though they also had the option to sign in with Discord or the authentication protocol Blender Network. This version of bruhclone was also eventually suspended.

bruhclone was brought back as a public Miiverse clone on July 1, 2022 under bc.isledelfino.net, retaining posts from as early as January 30. On July 11, 2022, bruhclone was moved to bruhclone.rebooted.link. As of July 14, bruhclone was replaced with an authentication protocol service known as authentikitty, which would be used to access "all of bruhNet".

Sometime in July of 2023, bruhclone was rehosted under bruhclone.rebooted.link, using an older version of bruhclone. The site was "leaked" on the r/Miiverse subreddit by an individual known as Liam, though the link to the clone was public at the time. It was shut down on September 1, 2023.
