banama.club

(Not to be confused with Banama Club itself.)

"Banama Club is a private Miiverse clone community that was originally a Google+ community made by users of the Panama Club (an off-topic Miiverse community made by users who wanted to escape all the drama and dumb memes in the New Super Luigi U Community) in 2016. Due to the closure of the Google+ platform, this site was created to house its users in a more classic and private environment."

banama.club (usually referred to as dot club or .club to differentiate from the Google+ community) is a Miiverse clone created by PF2M and owned by Eggie, the creator of the original Banama Club. It was made in early 2019 following the announcement of Google+'s shutdown, and is intended for use by former users of the Banama Club after Google+'s (and in turn Banama's) shutdown on April 2, 2019. It was originally under the domain banama.cf, before switching to its current one. It is one of the few currently running clones, of which it is also one of the longest running. It is based off of Indigo's source code.

banama.club's access is restricted to those who were members of the original Banama Club, though friends of existing members may join if members and moderators agree to it. Users formerly signed in with their Google accounts, but the site now uses a more traditional account system.  Those who aren't signed in cannot see any part of the site, including posts and communities, with the exception of the sign in page, the contact page, and the privacy policy page.

banama.club began with only one community, the Banama Club community. This would later become the general community, and admins of the site began making more communities. The site has at least 34 different communities., including a community titled "Donkey Kong", labeled the "crown jewel" of the site.

banama.club was at one point somewhat active, with PF2M reporting that there were 150 posts made on the site in a day (though he also claimed this is almost a tenth of what Closedverse would get in 4 hours).
