Bulbaverse

Bulbaverse was a Miiverse clone based on the Pokémon Bulbasaur, created by the user Lukah_F. It has gone through multiple iterations using different clones' source codes.

History

Bulbaverse was initially released on August 3, 2023 under bulbaverse-foreal-lol.000webhostapp.com, and was based off of Cedar.

On August 4, sign-ups were disabled for Bulbaverse, with Lukah_F stating that those who wanted to create an account should contact him on Discord or closedverse.termy.lol. On August 5, due to the site getting spammed, Bulbaverse was shut down, and Lukah_F stated that he would not rehost another clone until he learned more PHP.

On August 19, Bulbaverse was rehosted under bulbav-pasta.000webhostapp.com, a link initially kept private. On August 30, a Bulbaverse moderator application form was posted on the Bulbaverse Discord server.

On September 4, 2023, Bulbaverse was rehosted using Ultima as a base rather than Cedar,  under bulbaverse.zya.me.

On September 8, 2023, Bulbaverse moderator gray announced that bulbav-pasta.000webhostapp.com would be shutting down, mainly due to the site being unstable and having issues such as image uploading not working. He stated that the Ultima-based Bulbaverse would be prioritized due to Ultima being more stable. gray also mentioned that the user Aymo had already archived the content of bulbav-pasta.000webhostapp.com, with site moderator Minihoot also stating that he archived the site with Wget.

The Ultima version of Bulbaverse continued development during September, with a new logo being made for the site. However, due to gray accidentally reporting the website to the web host provider, Bulbaverse was shut down in late September, with Lukah_F stating that he didn't care to bring it back due to the site's inactivity.

On December 7, 2023, Bulbaverse was brought back under bulbaverse.lukah.lol, this time using Galaxy Plaza code. It was temporarily shut down in mid-December before coming back on December 18. That day, Lukah_F was able to "merge" the database of the Ultima version of Bulbaverse from September of 2023 with the latest one.

Features of this version of Bulbaverse included the ability for users to "follow" communities, with the amount of followers a community has being displayed on its page. It also had background music that played on the main page.

As of January 15, 2024, Lukah_F shut down Bulbaverse due to inactivity.

Wynautverse

Wynautverse was another Pokémon-themed Miiverse clone made by Lukah_F that appeared to have used Indigo as a base. Its link was not made public.

LeafGreen

LeafGreen was a clone planned by Aymo, that was under the codename "Bulbaverse V3". He posted concept screenshots of the clone to Cedar-Django on December 18, 2023.
