Barthouse12

Barthouse12 would post multiple illustrations on Miiverse for various games, such as Nintendo Land and Super Mario 3D World. He became friends with the user JoshM.

Closedverse

Barthouse12 joined Closedverse on October 2, 2017. The majority of his Closedverse posts were discussion questions, such as asking users what their favorite video game from a certain console was.

On Closedverse, Barthouse12 was noted for making comments on other users' jokes and memes. These comments often involved Barthouse12 "correcting" a joke, pointing out something "wrong" about the post, or generally showing a lack of understanding of the jokes' content. While Barthouse12 made these comments on an occasional basis, he did not receive much attention from the majority of the Closedverse userbase until mid 2018, when some users would point out that Barthouse12 was "gullible".

It was at that point when Barthouse12 gained notoriety for his comments, with some users berating him in the comments for not understanding the joke of the post. Despite frequently being mocked by the Closedverse userbase, Barthouse12 would continue to make such comments, seemingly oblivious to the opinions of the userbase. Another thing Barthouse12 was noted for was commenting "Hey, look. I'm on TV." on posts that contained screenshots of his comments. Barthouse12 was also known for commenting on any posts that made fun of JoshM.

In late 2018, JoshM. got into discourse with his friends due to being rude to them and blocking many users. Barthouse12 would be in the comments of these posts attempting to defend JoshM. At the end of this discourse, many of JoshM.'s friends left him, though Barthouse12 was one of the few that didn't.

Indigo

Barthouse12 may have made an account on the clone Indigo like most of the other users that migrated from Closedverse, though there is no evidence from Indigo archives.

A trend in early 2019 involved some users changing their Miis to Barthouse12's Mii, and also changing their usernames to Barthouse12 (or other names with a similar "pattern", such as Margecondo16). This was accompanied with shitposting involving Barthouse12.

Oasis and Livestreams

There is no evidence that Barthouse12 used the clone Oasis in the first few months following its release. However, Barthouse12 did eventually make an account on Oasis, likely after Indigo's shutdown.

On March 6, 2019, Barthouse12 uploaded a livestream titled "Live Streaming cause I'm bored". In the livestream, he played pinball on his computer (which was running Windows XP) as well as several games on his Wii U. He would also view several posts on Oasis. He would upload another livestream two days later titled "Yet Another Live Stream". Starting with this livestream, Oasis users would request things for Barthouse12 to do. Occasionally, users would request for Barthouse12 to dab, which he would do multiple times, with these instances of him dabbing being some of the most notable things to come from the streams. Barthouse12 would upload two more livestreams on March 15, as well as another livestream on March 19.

Following Oasis's shutdown on April 14, 2019, some Oasis users would join Barthouse12's Discord server. On April 24, 2019, Barthouse12 uploaded a livestream, once again doing requests by former clone users on the Discord server. This would be his last livestream.

Barthouse12 mainly uses Discord following the shutdown of Oasis. He also uploads GoAnimate videos to his YouTube channel on an occasional basis.

Barthouse12's Discord Server(s)

Barthouse12's original Discord server would be deleted for unknown reasons. Barthouse12 would continue to make numerous Discord servers, all of them under the name "Barthouse12's Discord Server" (though it would sometimes be known as Bartcord). These servers are almost always chaotic in nature, with raids being frequent and the users Barthouse12 gives administrative privileges to vandalizing the server by deleting channels and making new ones without his permission. Because of these factors, Barthouse12 deletes the server within a matter of days and creates a new one under the same name and icon (his Mii).

The user Kirbytone became infamous on the Barthouse12 Discord servers for supposedly "hacking" the server and the accounts of some of the users. This has caused him to become a boogeyman amongst the servers' users, who jokingly blame him for the vandalization of the servers even if he isn't there. Administrators on the servers often justify their vandalization by stating that their accounts were hacked by Kirbytone.

Barthouse12's servers often involve the usage of numerous bots such as MEE6. On one occasion, many Pokémon-related bots were invited to the server.

On December 27, 2020, the user Sosig created the now deleted Barthouse12 Wiki under barthouse12.fandom.com. The wiki had two articles on Barthouse12 and his Discord servers. In addition to this wiki, Sosig also detailed the history of the Barthouse12 server, which can be found here.

Barthouse12 Server Civil War

On February 4, 2021, Barthouse12's Discord Server underwent a "Clan War" between two parties: the "Based Viking Klan" lead by the user Barkovsky, and the "Server Social Barthouse Worker's Party" lead by the user Vanilla Butter. Users could vote to join a party via a bot on the rules channel, and were given the appropriate role. On February 6, 2021, an article on the "Civil War" was made by SSBWP member Espurr on Miiversepedia, which describes the "conflict" where Espurr restricted members of the Viking Clan from the #barthouse12 channel and eventually restricted their view of most of the server. Barthouse12 himself became a member of the SSBWP.

As of 2021, Barthouse12 continues to make Discord servers, which are often raided and spammed.
