Kamekverse is a Miiverse clone made by SuperDumbMario2. It was created from scratch, without using an existing Miiverse clone's codebase. It is currently in closed beta under kamekverse.pythonanywhere.com; users need an invite code to sign up.

SuperDumbMario2 began teasing Kamekverse in March of 2025, before officially revealing it on April 9, 2025 through a feature overview video uploaded to his YouTube channel. The video showed that Kamekverse would have layouts for Miiverse's browser layouts from both before and after its 2015 redesign, as well as Wii U and 3DS layouts. The video also teased a light and dark mode as well as different themes, including Miiverse, Closedverse (in dark mode), and Indigo (in both light and dark mode). Kamekverse would also feature Nahs similar to Cedar, and featured posts.

On July 8, 2025, SuperDumbMario2 posted a screenshot of a new interface codenamed "neo", designed with a liquid-glass aesthetic and "more console-esque" UI. On July 11, he announced a feature similar to Reddit karma known as "Mii Coins" that would be displayed on a user's profile.

On September 17, 2025, SuperDumbMario2 announced that he would release Kamekverse's closed beta soon. However, on September 19, he announced that the beta would be delayed. On September 26, he announced that he planned to rewrite Kamekverse in Django.

On January 17, 2026, SuperDumbMario2 released Kamekverse as a closed beta, requiring an invite code to sign up for the site. He provided an invite code on the Kamekverse Discord server, which 10 users could use to sign up. The beta came with basic features, including the ability to Nah posts. User-created communities and favorite communities were implemented on January 22, though users were unable to customize the icons and banners of their communities until February 16. Private communities were added on February 4; these communities cannot be accessed by any user other than the creator of the community. The ability to whitelist users on a private community was added on March 22, 2026.
In March of 2026, SuperDumbMario2 began working on the Kamekverse API. On March 7, he released a new instance of Kamekverse to test apps for the API under kamekversed1.pythonanywhere.com.

A dark theme for Kamekverse was added on April 30, 2026. Text formatting was added on May 12, 2026; users can format the colors of the text on their posts by adding a specific character at the beginning: ">" makes the text green, "<" makes the text orange, and "^" makes the text blue.
